The economy queen room was updated, the bed was soft. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus. The location was great, to the Cogwheel train station that goes up to the cable car station, convenient to go everywhere. Besides, it was really close to which is half way between Garmisch as well as the bus stop.

The room was so comfy, it was amazing! 😍 It came with a flat-screen TV with lots of channels, a fridge, and even coffee and tea makers. And hey, a tub in the bathroom was a nice touch.

I gotta say, I got amazing value for my money at this hotel. The room was spacious and had plenty of towels for our group of 13. The location was perfect, super close to the train station and bus stop, and the mountains were right next door. The staff treated us like royalty, helping us with ski area recommendations and even waiting for us after hours to check in. Definitely staying here again!
The breakfast selection could use some pastries to make it even better.

Bavarian hospitality, fantastic surroundings, amazing staff, and adorable Lű. Convenient location near tourist bus stop, train station, swimming pool, mountains, village center. Free local tourist card for transportation. Easy access to cable cars and shopping in Garmisch Pt. Special shoutout to the friendly receptionist. Extra love for Lű! Beautiful balcony view, quiet and peaceful area, comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfast. Friendly owners, ample parking, and easy access to public transport. Close to hiking, swimming, and a charming town. Would happily stay again!

The hotel offers a "rich and extensive" breakfast buffet, perfect for those who love bread, butter, and jelly. The staff is "happy to help" with all queries, but don't expect outlets on the side of the bed or washed extra blankets.
No outlets by the bed and questionable cleanliness of extra blankets. All in all, a nice stay.

I had an amazing experience at a hotel in Grainau. Upon arriving late due to heavy traffic, the staff kindly waited for me to check in. The next morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with my own pot of coffee. The staff was incredibly helpful in guiding me to the nearby ski areas and providing a place to store my snowboarding gear. I truly felt welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and convenient location.

I had a wonderful 2-night stay at the lovely Hotel Garni Post. The location is perfect, with the railway station and bus stop just a short walk away. The hotel is surrounded by breathtaking mountains, and the view from my balcony was incredible. The interior and furniture have a charming, old-world feel, and my single room was comfortable and well-equipped. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the staff, especially the family Seufferth, were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
